Srijan International School, Jammu, hosted its Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour, marking a significant milestone in the journey of its newly appointed Student Council.
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the esteemed guests, Additional SP, Samba Mr G. R. Bhardwaj, JKPS, and Smt. Rekha Mahajan, Vice President, BJP J&K, in the presence of the school leadership, teachers, students and proud parents of the Student Council members.
The occasion beautifully combined the spirit of leadership and patriotism, as the newly appointed student leaders formally took on their responsibilities. The council members received their badges and took the oath of office, pledging to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, responsibility and service.
Addressing the gathering, the esteemed guests encouraged the young leaders to lead by example, remain committed to their duties and contribute positively to society. Their words served as a source of motivation for the students and reinforced the importance of responsible leadership.
The presence of the parents of the Student Council members added a special dimension to the occasion. Their pride and encouragement reflected the strong partnership between the school and families in nurturing confident and responsible young citizens.
The ceremony also celebrated the spirit of Independence Day, with patriotic performances and activities that paid tribute to the nation's freedom, unity and the sacrifices of its heroes. The atmosphere resonated with a deep sense of pride and love for the country.
