Srijan International School, Jammu celebrated the spirit of Independence Day with a spectacular showcase of India’s rich cultural heritage and glorious diversity. As part of the Independence Day celebrations, students from Grades IV to Grade 8th beautifully represented different States and the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir through vibrant Tableaux, Folk Dances and Cultural Performances. From the energetic Bhangra and Phulkari traditions of Punjab to the graceful Nati of Himachal Pradesh, the colourful Ghoomar of Rajasthan, lively Garba of Gujarat, artistic traditions of West Bengal and Odisha, enchanting Kathakali and Mohiniyattam of Kerala, graceful Bharatanatyam of Tamil Nadu, vibrant Lavani of Maharashtra, energetic Bihu of Assam, and the rich cultural heritage of Jammu & Kashmir through Dogra Folk and Rouf, every presentation reflected the unique identity and traditions of our incredible nation. 🇮🇳✨ The beautifully curated tableaux brought iconic landmarks, festivals, traditional attire and cultural symbols to life, reminding us that although we speak different languages, follow different traditions and celebrate different cultures, we are united by one identity — INDIA. The enthusiasm, creativity and confidence displayed by our students made the celebration truly memorable.
A heartfelt appreciation to all the students, teachers, class teachers, CCA team and coordinators whose dedicated efforts, guidance and meticulous preparation transformed the campus into a vibrant representation of India’s Unity in Diversity.
On this Independence Day, we proudly celebrate not only our freedom but also the incredible cultural tapestry that makes our nation unique.
Different States, Different Cultures, One Nation, One Spirit! Jai Hind! Vande Mataram!
